Kevin Konsorr zittert um Startplatz
Flensburg. Nach einjähriger Pause laden am Wochenende die Nordic Spinners wieder ein. Der 3. Flensburger Spinners Cup, ein B-Turnier der GermanTour, wird auf dem anspruchsvollen Kurs auf dem Universitätsgelände ausgespielt. Obwohl einige deutsche und dänische Spitzen-Discgolfer in Stockholm beim zeitgleich ausgetragenen European Masters weilen, haben die Spinners ein starkes Teilnehmerfeld zusammenbekommen. Zwei Tage vor dem Tee-Off ist das Feld komplett besetzt und auch einige namhafte Akteure sind im hohen Norden dabei.
Angeführt wird das Feld von Titelverteidiger Thomas Rasmussen aus Dänemark. Der Spieler aus Randers mit dem 997er PDGA-Rating benötigte 2012 für die drei Runden, das Halbfinale und Finale 216 Würfe (59, 52, 56, 28, 21). Diese Leistung wird der Maßstab für den Sieg beim 3. Nordic Spinners-Cup sein. Aus dem eigenen Land hat er zwei starke Konkurrenten dabei. Einmal sogar aus der eigenen Familie, den Troels Rene Rasmussen ist mit einem 954er Rating sicherlich nicht ungefährlich. 2012 wurde er in Flensburg 16. Auch Christian Madsen (956) aus Arhues könnte vorn mitspielen. Gegenüber seinen Landsleuten ist er aber sicherlich im Nachteil, denn Madsen war vor zwei Jahren nicht dabei.
Aus Deutschland ist der Zweite von 2012, Jens Erdmann, mit am Start. Er hatte zwei Würfe mehr als der Däne benötigt. Auch der Dritte des 2. Flensburger Spinners-Cup, Victor Braun, sowie sein Bruder Jerome werden versuchen, sich die nordische Krone zu sichern.
Ein Wörtchen bei der Treppchenvergabe mitreden will auch der junge Torben Casser, der aber auf Grund des Nachmittagsunterricht in Niedersachsen erst sehr spät in Flensburg eintreffen wird. Auch sein münsteraner Vereinskamerad Kevin Konsorr wird in Flensburg sein. Allerdings hat er noch keinen Startplatz, so dass der Lünener zittern muss, ob noch ein Platz frei wird. Die beiden EM-Teilnehmer vom Club DiscGolfer Münsterland haben sich beim Turnier in Kellenhusen entschieden in den hohen Norden zu reisen. "Sascha Goertz hat so vom Parcours geschwärmt", berichteten sie.
Bei den Damen ist Titeltverteidigerin Jutta Wenner (Lünen Lakers) aus Werne dabei. Sie wird es aber sehr schwer haben, da ein sehr gutes Feld, angeführt von der EM-Teilnehmerin Susan Fischer, in Flensburg aufschlägt. In der Juniorenwertung will Marvin Hartmann aus Münster seinen Titel verteidigen. Carl Rose (Potsdam) und Bruder Maik Hartmann werden dies verhindern wollen.
Hartmut "Hartl" Wahrmann, Präsident der Lünen Lakers und gleichfalls EM-Teilnehmer, hat vor zwei Jahren den Berliner Oliver Möllemann erst im Finale gestellt. Der Westfale nahm dem Hauptstädtler zwei Würfe ab und zog auf 209 gleich. Beide werden an diesem Wochenende wieder um den Sieg in der Masters spielen.
Nur vier Grandmaster sind diesmal dabei. Verständlich ist sicherlich, dass der Sieger Hugh Everett (USA) nicht dabei ist, aber auch der beste Deutsche 2012 in der Ü 50, der Vorsitzende vom Ostsee Discgolf Kellenhusen, Heiko Behrens, fehlt. So dürfte der Sieg zweifelsfrei an den EM-Teilnehmer George Braun gehen.
