Drei GT14-Sieger in Münster ermittelt

Heimsieg für starken Kevin Konsorr

Münster. Mit der 4. Discgolf Münsterland Open am 25. und 26. Oktober endete im Wienburgpark in Münster die GermanTour 2014 der Discgolfer. Marvin Hartmann bei den Junioren, Klaus Kattwinkel in der Masters und Siegfried Metter bei den Senior Grandmastern sicherten sich durch ihren Divisionssieg in Münster den Gesamtsieg in der GermanTour, die letztmalig in der alten Form ausgetragen wurde. Ab dem Saisonstart in Wolfsburg wird es die GermanTour zweigeteilt in Major und Challange geben.

Ein Ass entscheidet

Dassel. Ein einziger - etwas glücklicher -  Wurf entschied das GermanTour-C-Turnier Dassel Summer Challenge zugunsten des EM-Teilnehmers Niklolai Tsouloukidse von den Funaten aus Hannover. An der berüchtigten Insel auf dem Gelände des CVJM im Solling hatte der Hannoveraner das Glück des Tüchtigen. Sein Wurf geriet etwas zu hoch, so dass die Disc auf dem Weg über die Insel hinaus war. Das üppige Grün in Dassel, weder vom B-Turnier an Ostern noch vom Herbstturnier bekannt, lenkte die Scheibe von Tsouloukidse ab und direkt in die Ketten des Korbes 13.

Zum 19. Mal trafen sich die Discgolfer in Söhnstetten zur Albuch Classics.

Youngster Max Tkocz überzeugt

Söhnstetten. Zum 19. Mal versammelten sich die ambitionierten Discgolfer in Söhnstetten. Die Albuch Classics, ein B-Turnier der GermanTour stand an. Neben einigen deutschen Spitzenspielern waren auch zwei Gäste aus der Schweiz dabei, unter anderem Paul Francz, der Chef der Europameisterschaft Ende des Monats.

Drei Mal 18 Bahnen auf dem EM-Kurs von 2008 standen unter der perfekten Regie von Turnierdirektor Dennis Stampfer an. 36 Open-Spieler, fünf Frauen, sieben Junioren sowie je elf Master und Grandmaster, unter ihnen mit Hartwig Henrich (Scheibensucher Rüsselsheim) ein Legend-Akteur, insgesamt kämpften also 70 Teilnehmer um GT-Punkte, Preisgeld und gläserne Pokale.

Durch einen fulminanten Schlussspurt sicherte sich Michael Stelzer, im vergangenen Jahr „nur“ Achter in Söhnstetten, 2014 wieder den Sieg.

Ein fast dramatisches Finale

Däne gewinnt 3. Flensburger Spinners-Cup

Flensburg. Nach einem Jahr Pause luden die Nordic Spinners Flensburg wieder zu einem B-Turnier auf den Campus ihrer Universität ein. Trotz der zeitgleichen European Masters in Stockholm bekam TD Florian „Uve“ Struve ein starkes, komplettes Teilnehmerfeld zusammen. Zufrieden zeigte er sich, dass auch wieder einige Dänen den Weg über die Grenze auf sich genommen haben: „Wir möchten gern noch mehr mit den Dänen zusammenarbeiten. Da aber die meisten Spieler weiter weg von der Grenze wohnen, ist es nicht so einfach. Durch das Preisgeld kommen zumindest Spitzenspieler aus dem Nachbarland zu uns.“

flensburg v 01Flensburg. Nach einjähriger Pause laden am Wochenende die Nordic Spinners wieder ein. Der 3. Flensburger Spinners Cup, ein B-Turnier der GermanTour, wird auf dem anspruchsvollen Kurs auf dem Universitätsgelände ausgespielt. Obwohl einige deutsche und dänische Spitzen-Discgolfer in Stockholm beim zeitgleich ausgetragenen European Masters weilen, haben die Spinners ein starkes Teilnehmerfeld zusammenbekommen. Heimsieg für Dominik Stampfer

Heidenheimer spielt in Söhnstetten aus einem Guss

Söhnstetten. Das erste große deutsche Turnier ist gelaufen. Beeindruckend gewann Dominik Stampfer die Albuch Classics, das erste von zwei A-Turnieren der Saison 2012, mit 28 unter Par. Selbst der Söhnstettener Micha Stelzer, immerhin auf einem sehr ähnlichen gestalteten Parcours in Söhnstetten in 2008 Vizeeuropameister, konnte seinen Vereinskameraden vom WSCA nicht schlagen. Mit einer Glanzleistung eroberte Jerome Braun (Potsdam) sich den dritten Platz. Der Söhnstettener Christian Schmidt warf am Sonntag auf der Bahn 16 ein Ass.

Oftersschwang. Paul Davis hatte zum zweiten Mal in diesem Jahr gerufen und die Discgolfer kamen, um einen neuen König des Allgäu in einem B-Turnier der GermanTour des Deutschen Frisbeesport-Verbandes auszuspielen. Zum fünften Mal wurde das Turnier „Big Hill King“ ausgespielt. Bei der Premiere im Oktober 2010 hatte der Söhnstettener Michael Stelzer mit 203 Würfen gewonnen. Danach stand er zwar immer auf dem Treppchen, aber zur Krone reichte es nicht. Dritter in 2011 hinter seinem WSCA-Kollegen Dominik Stampfer (198 Würfe), Dritter hinter Sven Rippel (195) in 2012, als der Bergkamener sich wenige Wochen später im englischen Colchester die Big-Hill-Krone mit dem Juniorensieg bei der Europameisterschaft vom Kopf wischte, und Zweiter - erneut hinter Dominik Stampfer (180 !) - im Vorjahr. Die Stelzer-Bilanz von 203 (2010), 207 (2011), 202 (2012), 189 (2013) und 194 am vergangenen Wochenende ließen Michi Stelzer strahlen und erneut als King of the Allgäu die Heimreise nach Söhnstetten antreten.

Groß Ilsede. Mit einer starken ersten Runde legte der Hannoveraner Nikolai Tsouloukidse den Grundstein für seinen Sieg bei der 1. Peine Open Anfang Juli. Der jüngste Discgolf-Verein im Deutschen Frisbeesport-Verband, „Das Eulennest - Discgolf Club Peine“, richtete erstmals ein GermanTour-Turnier aus. Mit etwas Unterstützung von Stefan Brandes und einigen seiner Tee-Timer aus Wolfenbüttel, die den Parcours auf dem ehemaligen Hüttengelände im Peiner Ortsteil damals geplant haben, feierten die Peiner eine gelungene GT-Premiere. Selbst das Wetter spielte mit.

Marvin Hartmann dominiert die Junioren

Kellenhusen. Christian Plaue vom Team Birdieproduction Grebenstein sicherte sich mit einem außergewöhnlichen Auftritt im Finale der 7. Kellenhusen Open, der Generalprobe für die Deutsche Meisterschaft 2015, den Sieg an der Ostseeküste. Den gleichfalls stark aufspielenden Kevin Konsorr von den DiscGolfern Münsterland nahm er in der Schlussrunde drei Würfe (!) ab, obwohl Konsorr nicht etwa ein schwaches Finale absolvierte. Platz drei ging an Torsten Baus. Vierter wurde Michael Rollnik. Torben Casser (DiscGolfer Münsterland), bei der Europameisterschaft Ende August in Genf noch in der Junioren-Division an der Scheibe, verpasste als Fünfter knapp das Finale.

6. Discgolf Open an der Jugendherberge Meinerzhagen

Meinerzhagen. Nach einem tollen Turnier in Bad Fredeburg im Hochsauerland am Vortag, lockte es 60 Spieler, damit ein volles Teilnehmerfeld, am Sonntag (15. Juni) nach Meinerzhagen an die Jugendherberge.

Ed Headrick, damals einer der führenden Köpfe des Scheibenherstellers Wham-O, gründete Ende der 70er-Jahre des vergangenen Jahrhunderts erst die Discgolf Association und später auch die bis heute tätige PDGA  (Professional Disc Golf Association). Sie ist insbesondere für das Regelwerk, das internationale Rating der Spieler und die weltweiten Top-Turniere zuständig.

Viele wichtige Turniere in Deutschland gehören zur GermanTour der Discgolf-Abteilung im DFV. 2015 soll diese Tour zweigeteilt werden, so dass es eine Basis-Tour (Challange) und eine aus fünf Turnieren bestehende Major-GermanTour geben wird. Die Sieger der Tour stehen am 31. Oktober eines Jahres fest.
