Thrownatur Discgolf fördert die „zweite Reihe“
Pfullingen. Neben Discmania / Innova, Crosslap und Discraft gibt es seit einiger Zeit ein zweites deutsches Pro-Team in der Discgolf-Szene. Das Team Thrownatur Discgolf.
Sven und Anja Kurio betreiben nebenberuflich den Online-Discgolf-Shop in Pfullingen.
„Das Team Thrownatur Discgolf ist noch ein sehr junges Team. Die Idee ein Team zu gründen, hatte ich schon von Anfang an, naja war eher ein frühzeitiger Traum“, berichtet Sven Kurio, der Anfang 2014, nach einem langen und interessanten Gespräch mit Marian Ludwig, das Team Thrownatur Discgolf gründete.
Klar, wer der erste durch Thrownatur geförderte Spieler wurde. Der Deutsche Vizemeister 
Marian Ludwig, der für die Tee-Timers Wolfenbüttel an der Scheibe ist. „Durch diverse deutschsprachige Discgolf-Videos ist Marian dem ein oder anderen sicherlich bekannt. Natürlich auch durch sein gutes Spiel und einigen Erfolgen“, freut sich Kurio über den erfolgreichen Kopf seines Teams, der bei den 4. Münster Open im März auch endlich seinen - sicherlich schon längst zuvor verdienten - ersten Turniersieg feierte. „Technisch spielt er schon auf sehr hohem Level und wir denken, dass da noch nicht alle Kapazitäten ausgeschöpft sind. Sein Engagement auf dem Gebiet der Discgolfvideos wollten wir auf jeden Fall unterstützen. Und obwohl Marian noch gar nicht so lange beim Discgolf ist, beeindruckt er doch schon durch Erfolge auf verschiedenen Turnieren“, ist Sven Kurio überzeugt, das Discgolf-Deutschland noch viel Freude an Ludwig haben wird.
Inzwischen ist das Team auf vier Spieler angewachsen, denn die Kurios nahmen zudem Markus Mossig, Konrad Haarmann und jüngst Katrin Freyberg, die Sven Kurio beim B-Turnier in Hesselbach „durch ihre Spielweise sehr positiv aufgefallen“ ist, „unter Vertrag“.
Mossig und Haarmann trugen maßgeblich zum Aufbau des Discgolfshops „Thrownatur Discgolf“ bei und machten den neuen Shop - überwiegend in Süddeutschland - bekannt. Auszeichnen tut sich Thrownatur Discgolf durch die breitere Auswahl bei Bestellmöglichkeiten. Kurio: „Wir sind der erste deutsche Shop, bei dem man seine Scheiben mit Farbauswahl und Gewicht bestellen kann.“
Die kleine Kurio-Firma ist noch im Aufbau, was aber nicht eine solide Zukunftsplanung verhindert: „Wenn es die finanzielle Lage zulässt, werden wir nächstes Jahr sicherlich noch ein paar weitere Spieler mit an Bord nehmen. Ein paar Ideen haben wir schon. Genaueres wird aber noch nicht verraten, außer, dass wir Spieler fördern wollen, die noch nicht ganz so bekannt sind. Engagement und Motivation sind allerdings wichtige Voraussetzungen. Denn genau das sind Dinge, die unsere aktuellen Thrownatur-Teammitglieder auszeichnen.“
