Entscheidet Lizotte die GermanTour 2012?

Der Deutsche Meister und Europameister gibt sich die Ehre

Kellenhusen. Nach den grandiosen Erfolgen in plakat kellenhusenColchester, Leberic und Eberswalde möchte Simon Lizotte, der für die DiscGolfer Münsterland startende Bremer gewann diese Turniere, nun auch die Discgolf-Freunde an der Ostsee mit seinem Spiel beglücken. Ob allerdings alle Turnierteilnehmer damit so glücklich sind, dürfte fraglich sein. Der Europameister und Deutsche Meister ist in einer solchen Form, dass die deutsche Konkurrenz ihm kaum den Sieg in Kellenhusen wird streitig machen können. Gewinnt Lizotte erwartungsgemäß am kommenden Wochenende, macht er damit - fast sicher - Dominik Stampfer zum GermanTour-Sieger 2012.

Kevin Konsorr vor dem Wechsel in die Open

Eberswalde. Mit großem Vorsprung sicherte sich der Lünener Kevin Konsorr (DiscGolfer Münsterland), der Vizemeister von 2011, den Junioren-Titel bei der Deutschen Meisterschaft im brandenburgischen Eberswalde. Mit elf unter Par nach dem Juniorenfinale (zugleich Halbfinale der Open) hätte es für den Oberstufenschüler nicht nur für den Einzug ins Finale der Open gereicht, sondern er wäre - vermutlich (vgl. PDGA-Rating) - hinter seinem Clubkameraden Simon Lizotte Vizemeister der Open geworden! Der Abstand zum Junioren-Vizemeister Marvin Tetzel (Tee-Timers) aus Wolfenbüttel betrug satte 30 Würfe. Zwischen dem Zweiten Tetzel und Dritten, Marvin Hartmann (DiscGolfer Münsterland), betrug der Unterschied beim Turnierende nur drei Würfe.

Im Osten nichts Neues - Favoritensiege bei der 27. Deutschen Meisterschaft

Eberswalde. Simon Lizotte, Kevin Konsorr (beide DiscGolfer Münsterland), Susann Fischer, George Braun (beide Hyzernauts), Michael Kobella (Augsburg) und "Opa Willy" Leifermann (Ostsee Discgolf Kellenhusen) sind die Deutschen Meister 2012. Der Bremer Simon Lizotte verteidigte zum dritten Mal in Folge seinen Titel. Damen-Siegerin Susann Fischer und Legend-Spieler Willy Leifermann hatten auch im Vorjahr in Kellenhusen triumphiert.

Plötzlich ist Öffentlichkeit unerwünscht

Deutsche Discgolfer diskutieren "geheim" über ihr Zukunft

Eberswalde. Die Jahreshauptversammlung der Discgolf-Abteilung im Deutschen Frisbee-Sportverband fand am Vorabend der Deutschen Meisterschaft 2012 in Eberswalde statt. Discgolfen.de hatte im Vorfeld der Versammlung berichtet: Großer Diskussionsbedarf. Auch war der Autor vom Abteilungsleiter Discgolf im DFV, Jens Schrader, zur Berichterstattung eingeladen, wie der Baden-Badener in eine Mail schrieb: "Ich würde mich freuen, wenn Du darüber dann einen Artikel schreiben würdest, gern auch mit Interview." Im Laufe der Versammlung, über deren Inhalt, Verlauf und Ergebnis hier leider nichts veröffentlicht werden darf, untersagte Jens Schrader dem Autor die Berichterstattung.

27. Deutsche Meisterschaft in Eberswalde

Eberswalde. Von Greifswald an der Ostsee, dem Sitz des diesjährigen Organisators der Deutschen Meisterschaft, dem Schwebedeckelkombinat Tschaika, bis zum Familiengarten im brandenburgischen Eberswalde, wo ab Freitag (21. September) zum 27. Mal die Discgolfer ihre nationalen Titelträger ermitteln, sind es selbst für erfahrene "Schwalben" eine paar Flügelschläge mehr. Rund 200 Kilometer beträgt die Distanz, die Cheforganisator Jörg Eberts und sein Team aber gern bewältigen, um den deutschen Schwebedeckelwerfern einen unvergesslichen Event im Osten der Republik zu gestalten. "Uns freut besonders, dass die DM sehr gut besetzt ist. Nur die Turniere in Dassel und Berlin hatten ein vergleichbares Starterfeld", strahlte Jörg Eberts knapp zwei Tage vor dem ersten Abwurf im Familiengarten, wo sechs von sieben Titelträger von 2011 am Start sein werden.

Titelverteidiger siegt und verliert (doch noch nicht)

Plaue kann die GermanTour 2012 durch Nachmeldung in Beckum noch gewinnen

Grebenstein. Eine Woche vor der Deutschen Meisterschaft in Eberswalde überprüften die deutschen Spitzen-Discgolfer im tschechischen Liberec oder im hessischen Grebenstein ihre Form. Bei den Grebenstein Open fehlte der in Liberec spielende Europameister und DM-Titelverteidiger aus Bremen, Simon Lizotte (DiscGolfer Münsterland). Der Vorjahreszweite Dominik Stampfer (Heidenheim / WSCA) und der Drittplatzierte der DM in Kellenhusen, Christian Plaue aus Grebenstein, waren bei den Grebenstein Open ebenso am Start wie die Mitfavoriten Sven Rippel (Bergkamen / DiscGolfer Münsterland), Tobi Behrens (Wolfenbüttel / Tee-Timers) und Ralf Hüpper ( Köln /Kettenjeklüngel). Der Lokalmatador Christian Plaue gewann das Turnier und verlor die Chance seinen Titel als GermanTour-Sieger zu verteidigen. Plaue kann trotz seiner möglichen A-Turnierteilnahme in Kellenhusen den Zweitplatzierten in Grebensten, Dominik Stampfer, nicht mehr überholen.

Vorstand räumt mehr Zeit ein

Jahreshauptversammlung der Discgolf-Abteilung im DFV

Eberswalde. Am Vorabend der Deutschen Disgolf-Meisterschaft 2012 findet am Freitag (21. September) in Eberswalde die Jahreshauptversammlung der Discgolf-Abteilung (DGA) im Deutschen Frisbeesport-Verband (DFV) statt. Angesichts der breiten Diskussion im Discgolf-Forum Playersmeeting, veränderte der Vorsitzende der DGA, Jens Schrader aus Baden-Baden, die Tagesordnung. Statt vom 19.30 Uhr bis 21.15 Uhr soll die wichtigste Discgolfversammlung des Jahres nun bis mindestens 22 Uhr gehen. Erstmals findet die Versammlung übrigens als reine Delegiertenversammlung der Mitgliedsvereine statt. Insgesamt könnten die 23 Vereine 73 Delegierte entsenden. Ein Vereinsvertreter kann bis zu drei Stimmen haben.

Zwei Titel für Deutschland

Simon Lizotte und Sven Rippel sind Europameister

Colchester. Nach einer spannenden Discgolf-Woche im englischen Colchester (Essex) bejubelten die 16 deutschen Teilnehmer und ihre Begleiter bei der Europameisterschaft zwei Titel für Deutschland. Simon Lizotte (Open) und Junior Sven Rippel (beide DiscGolfer Münsterland) fahren als beste Discgolfer Europas zurück auf den Kontinent.

Münsters Ultimates legen vor

Rippel und Lizotte wollen heute auch Europameister werden

Colchester. Riesenjubel bei der Vorsitzenden der DJK GW Marathon Münster. Hedwig Liekefedt erlebte auf der Insel einen perfekten Sporttag. Während sie den 19-jährigen Simon Lizotte, Spitzenspieler der DiscGolfer Münsterland (DGM), auf seiner dritten Runde bei der Europameisterschaft im englischen Colchester begleitete, gewannen auf der grünen Nachbarinsel die U 17-Junioren Tim Tuschen und Lucas Rawers von GW Marathons Ultimate Greenhorns den Europameisterschaftstitel. Tuschen sammelte diesen Titel zum dritten Mal in Folge (!) ein. Aber auch der 17-jährige DGMler Sven Rippel, der sich mit vier Würfen Vorsprung am dritten Turniertag an die Spitze des Feldes setzte, sowie Junior Kevin Konsorr, der sich auf Platz sieben verbesserte, und das „DGM-Kücken“ in Colchester, Marvin Hartmann, der sich durch eine sehr starke 71er Runde ebenfalls um einen Platz verbesserte, trieben der Vereinsvorsitzenden die Freudentränen in die Augen. Am Finaltag (Samstag, 18. August) gehen in der Open- und der Junioren-Division zwei ihrer Vereinsmitglieder als Topfavoriten auf den EM-Titel auf den Parcours. „Mehr geht einfach nicht“, strahlte Hedwig Liekefedt.

Der Tag des Sven Rippel

Deutscher Junior halbiert den Rückstand und schiebt sich auf Rang zwei

Colchester. Während es in der Open nur Bewegung hinter dem Führenden Simon Lizotte vom Team DiscGolfer Münsterland (DGM) gab, sorgte bei den Junioren der Bergkamener Sven Rippel, DGM-Kollege von Lizotte, für den Paukenschlag des Tages. Der 17-Jährige verbesserte sich zum Vortag um sechs Wurf. Durch seine 60er-Runde schob er sich von Platz fünf auf Rang zwei der Zwischenwertung bei den Junioren vor. Ein zweiter Deutscher auf Medaillenkurs.

Ed Headrick, damals einer der führenden Köpfe des Scheibenherstellers Wham-O, gründete Ende der 70er-Jahre des vergangenen Jahrhunderts erst die Discgolf Association und später auch die bis heute tätige PDGA  (Professional Disc Golf Association). Sie ist insbesondere für das Regelwerk, das internationale Rating der Spieler und die weltweiten Top-Turniere zuständig.

Viele wichtige Turniere in Deutschland gehören zur GermanTour der Discgolf-Abteilung im DFV. 2015 soll diese Tour zweigeteilt werden, so dass es eine Basis-Tour (Challange) und eine aus fünf Turnieren bestehende Major-GermanTour geben wird. Die Sieger der Tour stehen am 31. Oktober eines Jahres fest.
