„Triple“ für Jan Christoph Hoppe
Minden. Viele Discgolfer aus Ostwestfalen udn Nidersachsen nutzten das „min+din-doubles“ am 21. September als Test für den „Skyracer Cup“ am 12. Oktober auf Kanzlers Weide in Minden. Trotz des Regens am frühen Morgen kamen alle gemeldeten Teams hoch motiviert auf den Parcours n der Weser.
Beim Doubles lagen Jan Christoph und Alexander Hoppe nach 18 Bahnen mit neun unter Par vorn. Sie sicherten sich damit vorzeitig den Titel der Mindener Stadt-Teammeisterschaft. Im bisher spannendsten Turnierfinale auf Kanzlers Weide konnten die beiden Mindener nach zwischenzeitlichem Gleichstand auf der letzten Bahn das „min+din-doubles“" auch in der Gesamtwertung für sich entscheiden (-11). Das Duo konnte damit starke Konkurrenz aus Braunschweig, Bremen, Hannover und Nienburg sowie ein furios spielendes Newcomer-Team aus Hille bezwingen.
Jan Christoph Hoppe hat damit, genau 364 Tage nachdem er zum ersten Mal eine Disc Golf-Scheibe in der Hand gehalten hat, bereits Mindener Disc Golf-Geschichte geschrieben: Als amtierender Vereinsmeister des MTV 1860 Minden e. V., Stadtmeister Minden im Einzel und Stadt-Teammeister hat er gleich in seiner ersten Saison das Mindener Triple geholt. Nun freut er sich auf den „Skyracer Cup“.
