Entscheidet Lizotte die GermanTour 2012?
Der Deutsche Meister und Europameister gibt sich die Ehre
Kellenhusen. Nach den grandiosen Erfolgen in 
Colchester, Leberic und Eberswalde möchte Simon Lizotte, der für die DiscGolfer Münsterland startende Bremer gewann diese Turniere, nun auch die Discgolf-Freunde an der Ostsee mit seinem Spiel beglücken. Ob allerdings alle Turnierteilnehmer damit so glücklich sind, dürfte fraglich sein. Der Europameister und Deutsche Meister ist in einer solchen Form, dass die deutsche Konkurrenz ihm kaum den Sieg in Kellenhusen wird streitig machen können. Gewinnt Lizotte erwartungsgemäß am kommenden Wochenende, macht er damit - fast sicher - Dominik Stampfer zum GermanTour-Sieger 2012.
Ungefährdeter DM-Erfolg
Kevin Konsorr vor dem Wechsel in die Open
Eberswalde. Mit großem Vorsprung sicherte sich der Lünener Kevin Konsorr (DiscGolfer Münsterland), der Vizemeister von 2011, den Junioren-Titel bei der Deutschen Meisterschaft im brandenburgischen Eberswalde. Mit elf unter Par nach dem Juniorenfinale (zugleich Halbfinale der Open) hätte es für den Oberstufenschüler nicht nur für den Einzug ins Finale der Open gereicht, sondern er wäre - vermutlich (vgl. PDGA-Rating) - hinter seinem Clubkameraden Simon Lizotte Vizemeister der Open geworden! Der Abstand zum Junioren-Vizemeister Marvin Tetzel (Tee-Timers) aus Wolfenbüttel betrug satte 30 Würfe. Zwischen dem Zweiten Tetzel und Dritten, Marvin Hartmann (DiscGolfer Münsterland), betrug der Unterschied beim Turnierende nur drei Würfe.

Im Osten nichts Neues - Favoritensiege bei der 27. Deutschen Meisterschaft

Simon Lizotte, Kevin Konsorr (beide DiscGolfer Münsterland), Susann Fischer, George Braun (beide Hyzernauts), Michael Kobella (Augsburg) und "Opa Willy" Leifermann (Ostsee Discgolf Kellenhusen) sind die Deutschen Meister 2012. Der Bremer Simon Lizotte verteidigte zum dritten Mal in Folge seinen Titel. Damen-Siegerin Susann Fischer und Legend-Spieler Willy Leifermann hatten auch im Vorjahr in Kellenhusen triumphiert.

27. Deutsche Meisterschaft in Eberswalde
Eberswalde. Von Greifswald an der Ostsee, dem Sitz des diesjährigen Organisators der Deutschen Meisterschaft, dem Schwebedeckelkombinat Tschaika, bis zum Familiengarten im brandenburgischen Eberswalde, wo ab Freitag (21. September) zum 27. Mal die Discgolfer ihre nationalen Titelträger ermitteln, sind es selbst für erfahrene "Schwalben" eine paar Flügelschläge mehr. Rund 200 Kilometer beträgt die Distanz, die Cheforganisator Jörg Eberts und sein Team aber gern bewältigen, um den deutschen Schwebedeckelwerfern einen unvergesslichen Event im Osten der Republik zu gestalten. "Uns freut besonders, dass die DM sehr gut besetzt ist. Nur die Turniere in Dassel und Berlin hatten ein vergleichbares Starterfeld", strahlte Jörg Eberts knapp zwei Tage vor dem ersten Abwurf im Familiengarten, wo sechs von sieben Titelträger von 2011 am Start sein werden.

Grebenstein. Eine Woche vor der Deutschen Meisterschaft in Eberswalde überprüften die deutschen Spitzen-Discgolfer im tschechischen Liberec oder im hessischen Grebenstein ihre Form. Bei den Grebenstein Open fehlte der in Liberec spielende Europameister und DM-Titelverteidiger aus Bremen, Simon Lizotte (DiscGolfer Münsterland). Der Vorjahreszweite Dominik Stampfer (Heidenheim / WSCA) und der Drittplatzierte der DM in Kellenhusen, Christian Plaue aus Grebenstein, waren bei den Grebenstein Open ebenso am Start wie die Mitfavoriten Sven Rippel (Bergkamen / DiscGolfer Münsterland), Tobi Behrens (Wolfenbüttel / Tee-Timers) und Ralf Hüpper ( Köln /Kettenjeklüngel). Der Lokalmatador Christian Plaue gewann das Turnier und verlor die Chance seinen Titel als GermanTour-Sieger zu verteidigen. Plaue kann trotz seiner möglichen A-Turnierteilnahme in Kellenhusen den Zweitplatzierten in Grebensten, Dominik Stampfer, nicht mehr überholen.
Ist Christine Hellstern schon durch?
GermanTour wird erst spät entschieden
Söhnstetten. Die Entscheidung um den diesjährigen Sieg in der GermanTour tritt in die entscheidende Phase. Während bei den Junioren schon alles entschieden scheint, ist in den anderen Divisionen - auch in der Open - noch mit spannenden Turniertagen zu rechnen. Bei den Damen trennen Platz eins (Christine Hellstern) und Platz sieben (Dana Jung) weniger als 100 Punkte, die es bei einem entsprechend großen Teilnehmerfeld Ende September schon allein in Kellenhusen an der Ostsee zu gewinnen gibt.
2. Schöningen Open

Schöningen. Anfang August startet die Anmeldephase für das C-Turnier 2. Schöningen Open 
am 3. Oktober. Der Parcours für die Zweitauflage ist geplant, so dass einem schönen C-Turnier in Schöningen eigentlich nichts mehr im Wege steht. Dennoch bietet der Turnierdirektor Daniel Mohwinkel von den Wolfenbütteler Tee-Timers für die Schöningen Open einen Probedurchlauf an. "Ich möchte etwaige Probleme frühzeitig erkennen, um sie vor dem Turnier beheben zu können", machte Mohwinkel im Netz (www.tee-timers.de) deutlich. Das kleine Discgolf-Event soll am Sonntag, dem 9. September, zwischen 10 Uhr und 14 Uhr stattfinden. "In dieser Zeit wird der Parcours, wie er auch beim Turnier gespielt wird, bespielbar sein. Alle Interessierten, auch nicht Turnierteilnehmer, sind deshalb herzlich eingeladen sich einen kleinen Vorteil gegenüber anderen Spielern zu verschaffen und mir ein kleines Feedback zum geplanten Kurs zu geben", verdeutlichte Daniel Mohwinkel.

Söhnstetten. Das erste große deutsche Turnier ist gelaufen. Beeindruckend gewann Dominik Stampfer die Albuch Classics, das erste von zwei A-Turnieren der Saison 2012, mit 28 unter Par. Selbst der Söhnstettener Micha Stelzer, immerhin auf einem sehr ähnlichen gestalteten Parcours in Söhnstetten in 2008 Vizeeuropameister, konnte seinen Vereinskameraden vom WSCA nicht schlagen. Mit einer Glanzleistung eroberte Jerome Braun (Potsdam) sich den dritten Platz. Der Söhnstettener Christian Schmidt warf am Sonntag auf der Bahn 16 ein Ass.
Pascher und Reckmann vorn
Stephan Scharte in Lauerstellung
Münsterland. Nach zwei von fünf Wettbewerben haben die Münsteraner Felix Pascher und Martin Reckmann (beide 124 Punkte) die Führung in der MünsterlandSerie 2012 übernommen. Direkt hinter ihnen lauern Stephan Scharte (123) und Franz Schröer (124). Der erste Nicht-Münsteraner folgt auf Rang fünf. Der Grandmaster Peter Hennecke aus Menden sammelte 111 Punkte.
Spannung pur im hohen Norden
Rasmussen hangelt sich zum Sieg
Flensburg. Mitte Juli riefen die Nordic Spinners an die nördliche Bundesgrenze um den einen oder anderen Discgolfer mit „mittelgebirgsmäßigen“ Hügeln vor teilweise schwer zu lösende Aufgaben zu stellen. Wie immer, gab es auch bei diesem B-Turnier auf dem herrlichen Universitätscampus verdiente Sieger. Bei der Erstauflage 2011 hatte der Däne Thomas Rasmussen aus Randers gewonnen. Wie beim C-Turnier im Vorjahr nahm er auch beim Flensburger B-Turnier am 14. und 15. Juli das größte Preisgeld mit über die Landesgrenze nach Norden.
