Simon Lizotte holt auf
Richard Wysocki setzt sich in Stockholm an die Spitze
Stockholm. In den beiden Nachmittagsrunden der Pools A und B gab es vielfach nur wenige Veränderungen bei den einzelnen Scores, die aber in der Positionierung im sehr starken Teilnehmerfeld trotzdem große Wirkung zeigten.
Der Amerikaner Nathan Doss, Führender nach Runde eins, spielte vier mehr (56) als vormittags, was ihn auf den geteilten dritten Platz zurückwarf. Solide spielte Richard Wysocki (USA), der seiner 53 in Runde eins eine 52 folgen ließ. Damit liegt er mit -13 zwei Würfe vor Karl Johan Nybo (Dänemark), der eine 50er Runde (!) hinlegte und sich bis auf Rang zwei vorschob.
Der Finne Juho Rantalaiho verschlechterte sich durch drei Würfe mehr (56) und rutschte auf Rang fünf ab, den er sich mit den Amerikanern David Feldberg, Avery Jenkins und Jeremy Koling teilen muss.
Nach seiner schwachen Vormittagsrunde rückte Simon Lizotte (Bremen) die deutschen Verhältnisse wieder zurecht. Er spielte eine 53, was ihm den Zwischenrang 22 und die Führung bei den drei Deutschen einbringt. „Es war schon deutlich besser, aber noch nicht gut genug“, kommentierte der Europameister seine zweite Runde. Sven Rippel (Bergkaman) spielte auch im zweiten Durchgang lange auf dem Niveau seiner ersten Runde, bis er in der Schlussphase drei liegen ließ. Er muste mit einer 62er Runde zufrieden sein, was Rippel aber nicht war: „Es war etwas Pech und ein bißchen Unkonzentriertheit.“
Youngster Kevin Konsorr (Lünen) ließ seiner 62 eine 63 folgen, was ihn etwas zurückwarf. Der Cut dürfte nicht mehr erreichbar sein. Rippel hingegen muss sich gegen seine neun direkten Konkurrenten, die ebenfalls einen Score von 120 haben, durchsetzen, um ins Finale einzuziehen. Derzeit wäre Sven Rippel dabei.
Der schlechteste Score nach zwei Runden beträgt 138, was die Stärke des Feldes unterstreicht.
Bei den Masters liegt nun der Stockholmer Lokalmatador Frederik Lindberg (117 / -1) vorn. Platz zwei behauptete der Niederländer Bert Brader (118). Der Österreicher Otfried Derschmidt rutschte mit 122 (60 / 62) Würfen von zwei auf Rang acht ab.
Der Damenwettbewerb ist eine einseitige Angelegenheit, denn die Amerikanerin Valarie Jenkins führt mit 119 (+1) und 14 Würfen Vorsprung.
