Leicht ersatzgeschwächt aber offensiv eingestellt gingen wir in das Spiel gegen Athletico und konnten starke 15 Startminuten hinlegen, die aber jäh durch den 0:1 Gegentreffer gestoppt wurden. Unsere hoch aufgerückte 3er Kette wurde nach Ballverlust mit schönem Steilpass ausgespielt. Unser Spiel kam ins Stocken und musste bis zur Pause noch ein schön herausgespieltes und ziemlich ungestörtes 0:2 hinnehmen. Mit deutlich höherer Intensität ging es auf Aufholjagd in die zweite Hälfte. Der Gegner wurde größtenteils in die eigene Hälfte gedrängt und musste auch bald den Anschlusstreffer von Lukas hinnehmen. In dieser Phase bewahrte uns Tobi bei den Kontern von Athletico ein-, zweimal stark vor einen weiteren Gegentreffer. Nachdem Alex Fenner einen berechtigten Elfer zum Ausgleich verwandeln konnte gab es nochmal interessante 15 Schlussminuten, in denen beide Teams auf Sieg spielten. Es blieb aber beim gerechten, für uns etwas holprigen Remis.
