Nach einer ziemlich vergurkten Vorbereitung mit Spieler- und Spielabsagen sowie spät hinzu gestoßenen Neuzugängen ging es im ersten Saisonspiel gleich gegen den Vorjahresmeister Phönix 76 los. Aber siehe da, wir beherrschten das Spiel von Beginn an, Phönix allerdings die Abschlüsse durch ihren Goalgetter, vor dem hinlänglich gewarnt wurde. Was wir nach engagiert vorgetragenem Spiel an Chancen vergaben war unglaublich. Der Gegner machte es vor und erzielte nach fast jedem Konter einen Treffer, die allerdings durch bessere Abwehrarbeit zu verhindern gewesen wären. Als nach 0:3 durch Tore von Jan-Lukas und Sascha auf 2:3 verkürzt wurde, war gegen den Gegner, der stehend k.o. war, das Remis zum Greifen nahe. Mit dem Abpfiff fiel dann allerdings nach Fehlpass und Konter das 2:4. Bleibt ein gutes Spiel unseres Teams mit tollen Neuzugängen zu vermerken, die Fehler sind allerdings dringlich abzustellen.
