Am Mai - Wochenende fuhr unser Wettkampfteam (UMS) zu einem der bedeutensten und größten internationalem Turnier Tom´s Tourney nach Brügge. Über 60 Mannschaften aus ganz Europa (13 Nationen) nahmen an dem Turnier teil. Sogar Nationalmannschaften nutzten das Turnier für ihre Vorbereitung für die kommenden Europameisterschaften. Nach drei Auftaktniederlagen kämpfte sich das Team, betreut von Christoph Groth, in das Turnier. Am Ende standen 4 Siege und fünf Niederlagen. Knappe Niederlagen verhinderten eine bessere Plazierung. Es war ein gelungener Auftrakt in die Freiluftsaison.
Ergebnisse: 4:15 gegen Breizh United aus Frankreich, 6:13 gegen den späteren Finalteilnehmer Play> aus Österreich, 5:14 gegen Helgtre aus Belgien, 9:8 Sieg gegen Diabolic Heaven aus Belgien, 12:9 Sieg gegen Phoenix, knappe Niederlage gegen den Gastgeber Freezzz Beezzz 7:10, 9:10 gegen Zechenkumpel, 12.10 Sieg gegen Donkey Divers aus Italien und die Revance um Platz 13 gewonnen gegen den Gastgeber Freezzz Beezzz 7:6.
