Beckum einer von zehn EuroTour-Spielorten
Münster. Soeben erhielten die Discgolfer Münsterland von GW Marathon Münster den Zuschlag für ein EuroTour-Turnier in 2014. Der Verein von Europameister Simon Lizotte, EuroTour-Siegers 2013, reiht sich in das Konzert der Großen ein. 
Zwischen Kopenhagen, Helsinki und Stockholm steht nun auch das westfälische Beckum auf dem Turnierplan der PDGA Europe. Insgesamt zehn Turniere werden 2014 in der Serie gespielt:
29. März: Dutch Open in Rijkswijk (NL)
26. April: Copenhagen Open in Kopenhagen (DK)
3. Mai: British Open in Croydon (GB)
31. Mai: Westphalia Open in Beckum (D)
27. Juni: Tali Open in Helsinki (FIN)
5. Juli: Estonian Open in Otepää (EW)
25. Juli: Twin Lakers Annual in Stockholm (S)
30. August: Belgian Open in Braine-l' Alleud (B)
13. September: Strudengau Open in St. Thomas am Blasenstein (A)
27. September: French Disc Golf Open in Jablines-Annet (F)
