Erste Discgolf-Anlage in Franken

Gößweinstein. Auch in der Fränkischen Schweiz, der Mittelgebirgslandschaft im Städtedreieck Bamberg, Bayreuth und Nürnberg, wird ab dem 1. Mai Discgolf gespielt. Der Outdoor-Event-Unternehmer Thomas Mehl hat in Gößweinstein von Andel Thöne (Grebenstein) eine Neun-Bahnen-Anlage errichten lassen. Auf einer Wegstrecke von rund 1,5 Kilometer wurden neun Bahnen mit Wurflängen zwischen 51 und 101 Meter angelegt. Der im Wald-und-Wiesen-Gelände gebaute Parcours ist Par 27 und gehört in die Kategorie "anspruchsvolle Anlage", wie Betreiber Thomas Mehl berichtet: "Die ersten Nutzer haben gesagt, es wäre ein anstrengender Parcours."
